The Brisbane ACFE Committee is calling for nominations for the elections of committee members to be held at the AGM on Wednesday 25 August 2021.
Historically, each year all Committee positions were vacated and elected for a one year term. This is actually not in accordance with the ACFE Uniform Chapter By-Laws by which we operate .
The ACFE Chapter By-Laws require that half of the Committee vacate their positions each year and serve a two-year term. This encourages continuity from one year to the next, with at least half the Committee remaining.
To bring the Brisbane Chapter in line with the ACFE Chapter By-Laws and to keep the process consistent going forward, the Committee has decided to put up the President, Treasurer and two Committee positions for election at this year’s AGM. The Vice-President, Secretary and other Committee members will vacate at the AGM held in 2022. To nominate for the President role you must be a qualified CFE.

All nominations must be emailed to the Secretary prior to 5pm on 24 August 2021 to be considered.
